Terms of Service

Acceptance

Circle Connect is a student-circle discovery service for the Waseda University community. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. An account requires a valid Waseda University email address.

The Service

Circle information is provided by circles themselves or compiled from public sources, and may be incomplete or out of date. Circle Connect is an independent student project and is not an official service of, or endorsed by, Waseda University.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the posts you publish, and grant Circle Connect a license to display them within the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms or applicable law, and content you report is reviewed by moderators. When you delete your account, some content may be anonymized rather than deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

Do not harass or impersonate others, post unlawful or misleading content, spam, scrape the service, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.

Circle Pages

Circle pages may be claimed by verifying control of the circle's official contact address. Claiming a page you are not authorized to represent, or misusing a claimed page, may result in the claim being revoked and the account suspended.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Circle Connect is not responsible for the activities of listed circles or for decisions made based on information found on the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
