What is Circle Connect?
Circle Connect is a bilingual directory of student circles at Waseda University. Search hundreds of sports, culture, music, academic, volunteer, and dance circles, filter by what matters to you, and save the ones you want to reach out to — all in one place, in English or Japanese.
Who it's for
It's built for incoming and current Waseda students — especially first-years and international students working out where they belong. Every circle profile is bilingual, so language is never a barrier to finding your community.
Why we ask for a Waseda email
Saving circles and claiming a circle page require a Waseda email address — any waseda.jp subdomain, such as @akane, @ruri, or @moegi. Keeping the community to verified Waseda members protects students and circle leaders from spam and abuse. You can browse and search the entire directory without signing in.
Where the information comes from
Circle details are compiled from publicly available Waseda circle listings and can be maintained by approved circle operators. Confirm time-sensitive details directly through each circle's official channel.
Are you affiliated with Waseda?
Circle Connect is an independent, student-built project. It is not an official Waseda University service. We work to point you to accurate information, but always confirm the details that matter — meeting times, fees, eligibility — directly with each circle before joining.
Run a circle?
If you lead a circle, you can claim its page to edit the description, add your contact and social links, and post updates for students who saved it. Open your circle's profile and select “Claim this circle” — we'll email a verification code to the circle's registered contact address.
